Welcome to Kempston Park Indoor Bowls Club

Kempston Park Indoor Bowls Club is a private members club,  affiliated to the English Indoor Bowls Association (EIBA), offering a variety of bowling opportunities which include Club, County and National competitions, along with daily league fixtures, mid week Inter Club games and weekend friendly games.

Kempston Park IBC boasts the only 8 rink International Standard indoor bowls club in Bedfordshire. We have a well stocked bar and lounge area, and can accommodate up to 150 people for private functions.   Membership of the Club is open to the whole community.

Kempston Park are proud to be  part of the Bedford Borough Council "Active  Adult" Sports Programme, aimed at the over 35's. These courses are aimed at adults who would like to try something new in a relaxed, informal environment with other similar minded people.   The Active Adults programme is ideal for those who may never have tried a particular activity before and would now like to have a go at something new, or for those people who might have tried a sport a long time ago and now want to return to an activity in a relaxed, informal environment with other like-minded people. 

If you prefer to try it alone rather than in a group,  we have a number of qualified coaches who can offer various levels of training/coaching to suit your needs. We welcome bowlers of all abilities. and are fortunate to be able to accommodate wheelchair bowlers in our "Wheelstars" section.  

A "Tibbs Dementia Group" use our facilities weekly, some bowl under our volunteers watchful eye while others enjoy a  lunch and relax with family members, friends and  carers.  

For those who prefer to be creative  or just want to socialize we have an active  Craft Group who meet weekly on Tuesdays and our Vintage Tea Group, who offer a wonderful afternoon tea experiences with a twist.  

Our social group arrange  many different activities for example,  Bingo evenings, Quiz nights, Race nights, Guest singers and other entertainers for Social evenings.  

We organize monthly spoon drives and fun days where we let our imaginations run wild when we have theme bowling events.  

The club also offers snooker and darts opportunities daily.
